Category 5e UTP modular jacks, 8 position 8 conductor (8P8C) meet ANSI / TIA-568-C.2 performance standards. Compatible with both T568A and T568B wiring schemes , have a rectangular face of 14.5 mm wide by 16.0 mm high are held in place with flexible tabs designed to easily snap in and out of wall outlets, patch panels, and surface boxes. Category 5e cabling is recommended for support of 100 MHz applications.

Cat5e 8P8C RJ45 male connector is mainly used for twisted pair network cable applications, following FCC standard. When terminating the Cat. 5e connector, pls follow the T568A or T568B pin / pair assignment as per ANSI / TIA-568-C.2 standard.

Typical modular plugs are designed for patch cable assemblies with stranded conductors from 24 ~ 28 AWG. The larger copper size translates into larger conductor diameters, which make terminating to a normal modular plug problematic. 5-SolidTek's special design load bar with 1.5mm size can fit the 1.35 ~ 1.4mm wires, which provides a superior solution for such larger network cables.
